The New York Post Endorses President Trump For Re-Election and Remains Locked Out of Twitter

The New York Post, which is America’s oldest daily newspaper, has endorsed Donald Trump for President.

The Post noted a number of successes that Trump has had. For example, on the economy.

So a reminder: Until the necessary shutdown to fight the coronavirus, the unemployment rate stood at 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century. African American unemployment was 6.8 percent, the lowest figure since 1972.

They also hailed his record on judges.

Most importantly, throughout his time in office and culminating with the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, Trump’s judicial appointments promise to curb the leftward shift of the courts and the activism that Democrats have come to count on. The left has achieved through legal decisions what it couldn’t through legislation.

The Post even noted Trump has done better on COVID-19 than many people realize.

Joe Biden has tried to make this election about the coronavirus, but it’s unclear he’d do anything different except trigger new lockdowns — a strategy the WHO now discourages. Trump is criticized for his early handling of the virus, but his institution of a travel ban and aid to the states undoubtedly saved lives. The same perfect hindsight the media expects of the president they rarely apply to others Consider that Gov. Andrew Cuomo wrote a self-praising book about his response to COVID-19, even though New York’s death toll is higher than that of any other state. And because he’s a Democrat, the media let him get away with it! Today, those who are infected with the coronavirus survive at much higher rates. We are likely to have a vaccine in the coming months, far earlier than many experts thought possible. The media don’t want to admit it, but that’s all thanks to the “warp speed” policy instituted by the White House.

On top of that, the New York Post also pointed out that Joe Biden is just a figurehead candidate.

As this campaign has made clear, Joe Biden is a figurehead candidate for the Democratic Party. He rarely takes questions, sticks to his stump speeches, puts a lid on the day at the late hour of 9 a.m. There’s no reason to think his presidency would be any different. The assurgent left of the party, AOC and the Squad, are salivating at the possibility of pushing through their agenda. Kamala Harris is measuring the drapes. Whatever moderate impulses Joe Biden may have, expect them to evaporate quickly in office — particularly if there’s a united blue Congress behind him.

Ironically, the New York Post was unable to tweet this endorsement out because they’ve been banned since October 14th on Twitter for breaking the Hunter Biden laptop story. This has been the biggest news story in America over the last two weeks and the Biden campaign hasn’t denied the laptop images are real, but the Post is still banned.

How bizarre is it that the President of the United States is tweeting a thank you for an endorsement, while the mainstream paper that gave it is unable to post because they broke a huge story that’s bad for his opponent? Of course, Twitter wouldn’t admit to banning them for that reason, but we all know that’s why they’re really being locked off the service.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of conservatives are unhappy about the unfair treatment that the Post is getting.

You would think other news organizations would be making a big deal about this, wouldn’t you? They certainly would if they were real news organizations, but as we all know, the mainstream is basically just another arm of the Democratic campaign machine. Every story, every editorial, everything they do is seen through the lens of “how do we use this to help liberalism” or “how do we use this to hurt conservatives.” They don’t care about facts, the truth, or reporting the news, they just care about pushing their agenda. That’s why seeing a competitor banned for breaking a story that’s bad for Biden during the run-up to an election doesn’t bother them in the least. It’s because it is something those newspapers would never have to worry about.
