Triggered: Lib Meltdown After Actor Vince Vaughn Seen Talking to POTUS at NCAA Championship Game
First, they were triggered after seeing Ellen DeGeneres talking and laughing with President Bush at a Cowboys game last fall.
Now, liberals are apoplectic after actor Vince Vaughn was seen chatting with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the NCAA Championship game between LSU and Clemson last night in New Orleans.
Journalist Timothy Burke tweeted a 30 second video in which Vaughn can be seen speaking with the President and the First Lady and shaking their hands and wrote, “I’m very sorry to have to share this video with you. All of it, every part of it.”

One Twitter user demanded an explanation for Vaughn’s behavior, writing, “Vince Vaugh: explain yourself.”
Another wrote, “I used to have a massive crush on Vince Vaughn. Now I just want to barf.”
A seriously triggered liberal blogger replied, “Vince Vaughn had the chance to stand up to a rapist, traitor, and child murderer, and instead he enthusiastically shook Donald Trump’s hand. F**k em both.”
Vaughn has been an outspoken Libertarian and longtime supporter of former Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul.
In 2015, he spoke to a group of libertarian students where he heaped praise on the Paul family.
“I have gotten to know Rand through Ron and I have found him to be very consistent on a lot of the issues where liberty is concerned, and liked him very much,” Vaughn said. “There are some things I wasn’t totally understanding of [regarding Rand Paul’s politics, but] … he is the candidate that is currently running that I am most sort of aligned with in sort of his thoughts and philosophies. But to me,” he continued, “Ron was the most consistent in the tradition of liberty.”
The Daily Mail points out that Vaughn has been a critic of big government, and is quoted in a 2015 Telegraph article as saying, “I think that as you get older, you just get less trust in the government running anything.”
“Governments claim to write endless laws to protect us, a law for this, a law for that, but are they working? I don’t think so. The consequences are that there is a staggering loss of freedom for the individual,” he reportedly said.
