President Trump is calling on Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) to resign from office for “unlawfully lying and leaking.”
Taking to Twitter this morning, President Trump reiterated similar comments he made last night during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, writing, “Congressman Adam Schiff, who spent two years knowingly and unlawfully lying and leaking, should be forced to resign from Congress!”
Last night on Hannity, Trump called Schiff a “disgrace to our country.”

“In one way you could say it’s a crime what he did,” Trump said, “because … he was making horrible statements that he knew were false.
“He would go on, night after night, talking about collusion — the collusion delusion,” the President continued.
Schiff repeatedly claimed to have evidence of Trump-Russia collusion, even after the Special Counsel’s report cleared the president of any wrongdoing.
Earlier this week, the Congressman told the Washington Post that “undoubtedly” there was collusion between Trump and Russia.
