President Trump remains strong on his request for Ukraine officials to look into presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter, despite a push for impeachment from the Democrats. Maintaining there is no grounds to suggest an impeachment inquiry, Trump has now asked China to look into Joe Biden’s son as well. Speaking to the press today, Trump said:
China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened with China is just as bad as what happened with Ukraine…I’m sure that President Xi [Jinping] does not like being under that kind of scrutiny where billions of dollars is taken out of his country by a guy that just got kicked out of the Navy.

NBC News reported that “Hunter Biden was forming a Chinese private equity fund that associates said at the time was planning to raise big money, including from China. Hunter Biden has acknowledged meeting with Jonathan Li, a Chinese banker and his partner in the fund during the trip, although his spokesman says it was a social visit.” Sounds a bit more than social.
Exact money figures are disputed, however The Washington Post reported the firm behind the fund “planned to raise $1.5 billion” but Hunter Biden’s lawyer denied the claim, saying his client only bought a “10 percent equity interest” that was only worth $430,000.
