If our de-facto “Border Czar” VP Kamala Harris ever does visit the U.S.-Mexico border, former President Donald Trump will have beat her to it.
According to The Post Millennial:
Texas Governor Greg Abbott started the month of June by declaring a state of emergency over the Biden border crisis. A little over a week later, Abbott followed that up by announcing he’s building his own border wall within the confines of Texas borders.
Today, the Texas governor is inviting a border wall expert to join him on a tour of the southern US border. “I have accepted the invitation of Texas Governor Greg Abbott to join him on an official visit to our Nation’s decimated Southern Border on Wednesday, June 30, 2021,” former President Donald Trump leads off with.

Trump continues by noting that the Biden administration inherited “the strongest, safest, and most secure border in U.S. history and in mere weeks they turned it into the single worst border crisis in U.S. history. It’s an unmitigated disaster zone.”
He continues “we went from detain-and-remove to catch-and-release. We went from having border security that was the envy of the world to a lawless border that is not pitied around the world. Biden and Harris have handed control of our border over to cartels, criminals, and coyotes.”
The most recent numbers from the border prove that the crisis has no signs of slowing down. U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered 180,000 illegals attempting to enter the U.S. in May, a slight increase for April that represented the fourth straight month of apprehensions growth.
The Biden administration has refused to use the term “crisis” to describe the situation while also blaming Trump for the crisis they wonât describe as such. Further proving the leftâs disconnect from reality, VP Harris has gone as far as to also blame “anti-LGBTQ violence” and climate change for the border “not-crisis.”
In reality, it’s their own policies to blame. One of the first things Joe Biden did after taking office was to begin undoing Trumpâs legacy on immigration through a series of executive orders. Those executive orders aim to, among other things; establish a pathway to citizenship for 11 million illegals, halt border wall construction, rebranding “kids in cages” as “kids in overflow facilities,” and halt deportations. And now they’re surprised by the effects everyone predicted?
