CNN once again had some bullish polling out for President Donald Trump that you just know they hate to report.
According to their aggregate of polls, with the backdrop of a historically hostile media environment, Trump had a net positive approval rating for 11 days out of his first term - but has had a net positive approval rating for every one of the first 21 days of his second.
Furthermore, 70% of Americans believe President Trump is fulfilling his campaign promises, signaling a transformation in the political climate. Only 40% of voters said the same at this point in his first presidency.
Even CBS, which Trump is suing for $20 billion, had the best polling out for him yet, with the most common adjectives used to his describe him being "tough," "energetic," "focused" and "effective"
They had him polling at a net positive of +6, the highest on record, and showed historic support for his deportation and border policies.
The YouTube comments section on CBS’ reporting on the poll is filled with meltdowns accusing the network for rigging the poll in hopes that Trump will drop their lawsuit, or only polling red states. Others accused them of becoming “state media.” It’s a fun read.
All of this of course needs to be presented in the context of polls repeatedly underestimating Trump’s popularity.
