Lastnight Tucker Carlson called for cameras in the classrooms that would allow parents to monitor what teachers are telling their kids.
Carlson noted that the National Education Association is now openly saying they intend to inject race issues into the classroom:
“Its new, and first, priority is making racist anti-American indoctrination, race-based indoctrination, mandatory in every classroom in the country. All K-12 schools, the union declared, must teach children that, ‘White supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-indigeneity, racism, patriarchy, cis-hetero-patriarchy, capitalism, ableism, and anthropocentrism’ are embedded in every aspect of American ‘society. So if you’re a straight white American, even if you’re a very small child, you’re guilty. It’s your fault. You’re a bad person. That’s what teachers will be telling your children this fall. …The overwhelming majority of Americans — and pollsters have found this pretty clearly — think this is insane. They think you should judge people by what they do, not on the basis of their skin color. They believe in Dr. Martin Luther King.”
So, what are parents to do when they can’t trust the people teaching their children? Tucker had a brilliant suggestion:
“We can’t really be sure until we finally get cameras in the classroom, as we put them on the chests of police officers. Until we finally get a civilian review board in every town in America to oversee the people teaching your children, forming their minds. And let’s hope we get both of those very soon. But until we do, we can’t know exactly how widespread this is.”
Having police officers wear cameras was a good idea and not just because it helps protect officers from false accusations. Additionally, a police officer who knows what he is doing is being filmed is a police officer who is much more like to go by the book.
A teacher who knows she is being filmed is much more likely to go by the book, too. If a teacher knows that if she pushes liberal politics or critical race theory to kids, the parents are going to see EXACTLY what she said, guess what? She’s more likely to DO HER JOB instead of pushing her politics. In a world where you are a fool if you just blindly trust your teachers not to push weird and warped values to your kids, this is a great suggestion. This is something that should be implemented all over America and it would make education better because the bad teachers and the political teachers will get found out in a hurry. That’s exactly why teacher’s unions will oppose this idea, but it’s also exactly why parents and people that care about the education of our kids should support it.
