Tucker Carlson took aim at the Washington, D.C.’s police department after an officer who was caught in a viral video responding an activist heckling him about the Ma’Kiah Bryant shooting was pulled off duty.

From the Post Millennial:

“Three days ago a BLM activist heckled a cop in Washington DC over the shooting,” said Tucker. “Here’s what he said,” Tucker continued by sharing the viral video to his viewers.

The heckler in the video can be heard harassing the officer, saying, “Are y’all gonna kill me like Ma’Kiah Bryant?”

“No. Are you gonna stab someone like her?,” the officer fired back.

That response apparently got the officer taken off duty, a move that didn’t seem to sit well with Carlson:

“So he’s right. I’m not going to shoot you as long as you don’t try and stab somebody,” exclaimed Tucker.

“That’s why cops exist to prevent people from stabbing each other,” Tucker continued. “But the cop who said that, we have learned from an authoritative source, has now been pulled off duty pending a review,” Tucker reported. “He’s lost in effect his job for saying that.”

Controversy erupted last week shortly after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted if second-degree murder in the death of George Floyd when it was reported that 16-year-old Ma’Kiah Bryant was shot by a Columbus, Ohio police officer despite calling the police for help.

But quickly released body camera footage showed the officer pulled the trigger after Bryant attacked another teen with a knife, leaving most sane individuals to reason the shooting was justified.

Nevertheless, activists have continued to protest the Bryant shooting, insisting the officer’s actions were further evidence of racism in policing, because the narrative must go on.
