Unhinged Pelosi: ‘As the President Fiddles, People Are Dying’

On Sunday, while appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that President Trump bears responsibility for American deaths from the Chinese coronavirus.

As reported by TheBlaze:

“The president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly. His delaying of getting equipment to where it continues his delaying in getting equipment to where it’s needed, is deadly,” Pelosi said.

“I don’t know what the scientists are saying to him. I don’t know what the scientists said to him. When did the president know about this and what did he know?” Pelosi continued. “What did he know and when did he know it? That’s for an after-action review.”

“As the president fiddles, people are dying,” Pelosi said.

Watch below:

Pelosi continued, apparently with no self-awareness whatsoever, that Democrats want to unify and complete the job, but Trump is making it harder for them.

Never mind that Pelosi single-handedly sank the stimulus bill last Sunday that the Senate was poised to pass. She and her party were the ones who orchestrated a sham impeachment during the time where this was beginning. As Trump was taking measures to mitigate any potential harm, such as implementing a travel ban from China, they complained that he was being xenophobic and that his task force team wasn’t diverse enough.

Dr. Fauci himself has credited Trump’s travel restrictions for helping stop the importation of the virus from China into the U.S: “What we’re doing now with the other travel restrictions — so you block infections from coming in. And then within is when you have containment and mitigation. And that’s the reason why the kinds of things we’re doing that may seem like an over-reaction will keep us away from that worst-case scenario.”

Dr. Fauci also said that he worries about the virus returning once travel bans are lifted. We’ll see if Pelosi and her cabal publicly oppose them again then.
