As of late, the city of Minneapolis has experienced a significant crime spree. Many of the violent attacks have been caught on camera (see below). Lt. Bob Kroll was on ‘Fox and Friends’ this morning discussing that the city’s problem stems from a shortage of police officers.
Lt. Kroll knows exactly the root of the crisis plaguing his city. Kroll said on ‘Fox and Friends’ that the city’s “ultra-left agenda” has emboldened criminals. Additionally “the city council…ran on an anti-police agenda and they all made it. It’s ultra-left. It’s been [an] extreme Democrat-controlled council…it’s been that way for 22 years. And [the mayor] didn’t think he could get a large number [of cops] through.”
In a city where it is cops versus liberal leadership, the “ultra-left agenda” points to police as the problem. “[They say] it’s a racially biased criminal justice system here, and we need to de-police. That’s the overtone of our council.”
To explain the crisis in comprehensible numbers, “Mayor Jacob Frey only suggested bringing in 14 additional officers after 400 were requested.” Kroll said “criminals are thriving on the indulgence of far-left lawmakers and constantly game the system to escape justice.”
