Following the lead of the Washington Redskins/Washington Football Team, the MLB’s Cleveland Indians decided to hop on the social justice bandwagon and change their team name that almost no actual Native Americans are offended by.
They just put out the following video announcing their name change to “The Guardians,” which will take effect after the 2021 season.
The responses were mixed, but included no shortage of mockery.
