VP Kamala Harris further confused the American public while delivering a speech that appeared to be either written by a five-year-old - or be intended to be delivered to an audience that age.
While speaking at a Congressional Space Medal of Honor ceremony to honor former NASA astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken, Harris told the audience, while speaking like a Kindergarten teacher giving a lesson; "Which brings me to May 30, 2020. Bob and Doug returned to the Kennedy Space Center. They suited up. They waved to their families, and they rode an elevator up nearly 20 stories. They strapped in to their seats and waited as the tanks beneath filled with tens of thousands of gallons of fuel. And then they launched.”
She then added, while bursting out into mild nervous laughter and nodding, “Yeah, they did.”
While a welcome departure from her regular word salad, her comments left viewers equally bewildered.
