Videos unearthed earlier this week of adults dumping buckets of water onto NYPD officers. Unfortunately, the behavior is spreading to and influencing children. And the NYPD has had ENOUGH. The account @SBANYPD, which is the official twitter page for the Sergeants Benevolent Association (SBA) is comprised of approximately 13,000 active and retired sergeants of the NYPD tweeted out the disturbing video with a very clear message:
NYPD has surrendered under O’KNEEL-ANOTHER WATER TOSSING VIDEO. No more MEMO’s- DEFEND YOURSELF before YOU get seriously injured or KILLED. These buckets can contain ACID, BLEACH or other CHEMICALS. Obtain exposure numbers. O’KNEEL MUST GO, take the CLOWNS with you! No CONFIDENCE pic.twitter.com/9W5ABFq0Wz
