A Columbia University protester requested the Columbia University administration aid in the transfer of “basic humanitarian aid” to pro-Palestine protesting students occupying a campus building yesterday.

“Like, could people please have a glass of water?’’ the woman asked reporters outside Hamilton Hall, the occupied building. “Do you want students to die of dehydration and starvation or get severely ill even if they disagree with you? If the answer is no, then you should allow basic, I mean, it’s crazy to say because we’re on an Ivy League campus, but this is like basic humanitarian aid we’re asking for.”

One reporter stated in response, “It seems like you’re sort of saying, ‘We want to be revolutionaries, we want to take over this building, now would you please bring us some food and water.’’’

“Nobody’s asking them to bring anything,” the student replied. “We’re asking them to not violently stop us from bringing in basic humanitarian aid.’’

However, when asked if the university was stopping food and water from entering the building, the student said she did not know. “We are looking for a commitment from them that they will not stop it," the woman said. “I do not know to what extent it has been attempted. But we’re looking for a commitment."

The student has been identified as Johannah King-Slutzky, a PhD candidate at Columbia studying "theories of the imagination & poetry as interpreted through a Marxian lens.” Peachy Keenan chided on X, “This is her big break. The moment she's been waiting for. Claiming her rightful place in the spotlight. Everything she's done, her PhD in Marxist poetry, her pronoun selections, has led up to this. This is the terminus of feminism. Asking for bags of Lays to feed the other TAs locked in a building.”

Meanwhile, in reaction to King-Slutzky's plea for chips and soft drinks, Daily Wire scriptwriter Frank J. Fleming bemoaned, “If you’re going to try and make me pay for this girl’s student loans, I’m starting a civil war.”
