The ridiculous hashtag, #MoscowMitchMcTreason is now trending after the Senate Majority Leader gave a fiery speech on the Senate floor and fired back against the nickname “Moscow Mitch.” MSNBC host Joe Scarborough called the Leader “Moscow Mitch” after he blocked two election security measures on Friday.
McConnell is not backing down, and the President’s got his back! Yesterday McConnel said the attacks against him are “modern-day McCarthyism.” McConnell said “I was called unpatriotic, un-American and essentially treasonous by a couple of left-wing pundits on the basis of bold-faced lies. I was accused of aiding and abetting the very man I’ve singled out as an adversary and opposed for nearly 20 years, Vladimir Putin.”
Today President Trump defending McConnell calling him one of the greatest Americans and admitting although he did not read what the Washington Post said about McConnell, they are more of a “Russian asset.”
