House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Adam Schiff just came out saying that the whistleblower “who filed a mysterious complaint which includes allegations about President Donald Trump’s conduct, would like to speak to the committee” reported CNN,
Supposedly the whistleblower has specifically asked for guidance from Joseph Maguire, the acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Schiff tweeted “We have been informed by the whistleblower’s counsel that their client would like to speak to our committee and has requested guidance from the Acting DNI as to how to do so…We’re in touch with counsel and look forward to the whistleblower’s testimony as soon as this week.”

This comes after President Trump tweeted earlier today that he has approved for an “unredacted” transcript to be released tomorrow of his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Today was a busy day on the Ukraine whistleblower front. Pelosi has just announced that she will open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
