Remember when Joe Biden berated Fox News reporter Peter Doocy for asking him if he has ever had discussions with his son Hunter about his business with Ukraine. The video took place on the campaign trail immediately after it was released that the Ukraine phone call revolved around Joe and Hunter Biden.
Despite Joe Biden defensively declaring he has never discussed his son’s foreign business dealings with him, a newly released photo shows that’s an improbable scenario. Fox News exclusively obtained the photograph of Joe Biden playing golf with his son Hunter and Devon Archer, “who served on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings with Hunter.”
Hunter Biden had told the New Yorker he and his father had spoken “just once” about his work in Ukraine. This was before Joe Biden demanding they “never” spoke of the issue. A source close to Devon Archer told Fox News that the photo is from August of 2014 in the Hamptons. Joe Biden was acting Vice President at the time, and reportedly Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma Holdings in April of 2014.
Fox News also reported that Biden:
has acknowledged on camera that in spring 2016, when he was Vice President, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire top prosector Viktor Shokin. At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings – where Hunter had a lucrative role on the board despite limited relevant expertise. The Vice President threatened to withhold $1 billion in critical U.S. aid if Shokin was not fired.
Joe Biden brags about how he threatened to pull $1 billion in loan guarantees from Ukraine if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.
