Rep. Nancy Mace is pushing back on the gender insanity, pushing a âbathroom billâ to ensure the bathrooms and locker rooms (or any other place divided by gender) in the Capitol align with the biological sex of lawmakers. While this move isnât exactly monumental, as it should be a national âbathroom billâ weâre discussing, but it at least speaks to a broader pushback against progressive policies on gender issues.
The move comes after Sarah McBride won Delawareâs sole Congressional seat, making him the first transgender lawmaker ever in Congress.
Outside the capitol building an ABC reporter pressured her on the resolution, which didnât go as he expected.
âShould legislation be created targeted at one specific person?â the reporter asked.
She fired back: âIt doesnât mention anyone in the legislation, I have said itâs a result of this. Iâm not going to allow biological men into womenâs private spaces. I will stand in the brink and in the way of anyone on the radical left who thinks itâs okay for a penis to be in a womanâs locker room or a bathroom or a changing room. Hell no. Iâm not gonna stand for it and the speaker said it will be in the House Rules package. If itâs not, Iâll be ready with a privileged motion to force a vote on this. This is not okay. Iâm a survivor of rape, Iâm a survivor of sexual abuse, and Iâm not gonna allow a man in any female private spaces. Period, end of story.â
