Amazon is praising a decision by a judge that requires the Trump administration to give illegal aliens in the DACA program two-year work permits. The Trump administration had reduced the length of the work permits to 1 year. Amazon thinks illegals taking jobs from Americans is something worth cheering.

24.5 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed right now because of the pandemic, but Amazon thinks we should give more of their jobs to foreigners. Amazon, which puts a lot of money into lobbying in favor of illegal immigration and expanding foreign worker programs, has 1.2 million green card holders and 1.4 million foreign visa workers employed at their company.
The DACA program has always been ridiculous. Obama outright admitted it would be illegal for him to create a DACA program, but he did it anyway. The whole idea that you can take younger illegals and give them special status while the parents that brought them here illegally aren’t included is also nonsensical. Think about it. Dad and mom are illegal, but the kid living with them can’t be deported? Does that make sense? If a kid came here when he was younger, but has been here illegally for 20 years, knowing he’s breaking the law the entire time, is that really someone we should have unlimited sympathy towards? In case you were wondering, there are illegals in the program that have been here that long. Keep in mind that despite the fact that many people mistakenly believe that the program only applies to children, the average age of a participant is 25 years old, and there are illegals as old as 39 in the program.
What we need to do is go back to the law. Deport people that came here illegally, including everyone in the DACA program. Then, if they want to apply to come here legally, terrific. But, we have got to get back to enforcing the law in this country instead of treating certain groups of people like they’re above the law. Illegal aliens should not be given a free pass because they were unfortunate enough to have bad parents that were willing to break the law to bring them here.
