AOC melted down once again, this time in defense of the plight of illegal alien thieves.
Amid debate of the Laken Riley Act, which has since headed to President Donald Trump’s desk, she lost her mind over a measure that would would require law enforcement to detain illegals accused of theft and violent crimes, claiming that it would allow those individuals (who have no right to be in the country in the first place) to be removed from the country without proper due process.
That would, of course, come after they entered the country without due process.
“In the wake of tragedy we are seeing a fundamental erosion of our civil rights in this bill,” she said. “If a person is so much as accused of a crime, if someone wants to point a finger and accuse someone of shoplifting, they will be rounded up and put into a private detention camp and signed and sent out for deportation without a day in court.”
“That is what is inside this bill, a fundamental suspension of a core American value,” she added. “If you’re a dreamer, all someone has to do is point a finger and you will be rounded up.”
After her whining, the Act, which was already passed in the Senate in a 64-35 vote (with 12 Democrats joining Republicans), was passed by the House in a 263-156 vote.
