Illegal border crossings are hitting record highs, and with that comes a record number of illegals who are already convicted criminals.
Newly revealed figures from Customs and Border Patrol show that one of the twenty border sectors is experiencing a 380% increase in attempted border crossings by criminal illegal aliens.
According to the National Pulse’s Natalie Winters:
Customs and Border Patrol revealed figures showing that one of 20 border sectors is experiencing a nearly 400 percent increase in attempted border crossings.
The shocking figure is buried in a recent Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) press release, “Convicted Murderer and a MS-13 Arrested by RGV Border Patrol.”
The press release details how the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) sector of the border has arrested 1,625 criminal aliens in fiscal year 2021 in comparison to 338 migrants last year:
“With the rising numbers of unaccompanied alien children, family units, and single adults encountered by Border Patrol; criminal alien apprehensions are also increasing. RGV sector has apprehended 1,625 criminal aliens fiscal year to date, compared to 338 this time last year, a 380% increase,” CBP reveals.
“These criminal aliens were convicted here in the United States for crimes other than immigration, ranging from murder, sexual crimes, assault, and narcotics trafficking,” the press release clarifies.
Border officials encountered 172,000 illegals at the border in March, a 71% increase from February. That number of crossings represents the highest monthly total in fifteen years, and is five times more than March of last year.
For all the hysteria over “kids in cages” during the Trump administration, there was a peak 2,600 minors detained under Trump. Now under Biden it’s on track to hit 20,000.
