When Joe Biden made history entering office as the oldest president in U.S. history at 78, we apparently underestimated the record by an incredible 102 years.
Speaking before members of the United Auto Workers union, Biden thanked them for electing him to the Senate “180 years ago.”
During a CNN town hall event last month, Biden said that he was a senator for 370 years, longer than the Senate existed for.
While I’d generally be inclined to chalk this up to Biden simply joking about his old age, he didn’t exactly make the comments like he was delivering a punchline. When Ronald Reagan joked about his age, there was no doubt he was joking.
