Despite being vaccinated, Joe Biden continues to wear a mask outdoors, where you are dramatically less likely to spread or contract the coronavirus.
It’s debated if even the unvaccinated need to wear masks outdoors, but Biden continues the political theater regardless. When asked about why he continues wearing a mask outdoors despite CDC guidance saying the vaccinated don’t need to, Biden told NBC News: “The likelihood of my being outside and people not coming up to me, is not very, very high. It’s a small precaution to take that has a profound impact. It’s a patriotic responsibility for God’s sake.”
Now, less than a week later, photos have been released showing Biden indoors with Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn. The photos were actually taken a day before Biden told TODAY that he’s going to “patriotically” continue masking outdoors.

Most of the discussion surrounding the photograph has been about how it makes the Biden’s appear to be giants (an optical illusion created by a wife camera lens), but the real story here is more mask hypocrisy from the President who masks up for Zoom calls.
Everyone in the photograph is vaccinated – and behaving accordingly, as they should. There’d be nothing significant in noting the lack of masks if it wasn’t for the fact that Biden wasn’t contradicting his own statements. And the hypocrisy is even worse than it appears because it’s *outdoors* (where the virus transmits the least) that Biden said it was patriotic to keep masking, yet he’s fine kneeling next to nonagenarians indoors. Where’s the logic?
Even more ridiculous, when the Bidens left, they masked up.
