The hosts of the liberal radio show The Breakfast Club (get it - like the movie?) met their match when they went head to head with Congressman Byron Donalds.
During a heated exchange on inflation, Donalds stated "I would argue we're not really thriving right now. This inflation, which by the way was brought to us by Kamala Harris, has really slowed people down from being able to excel.”
As many remember, Harris cast the tie breaking vote in favor of bringing the nearly $2 trillion “American Rescue Plan” to the floor - which was soon followed by the worst inflation we’ve seen since the Jimmy Carter-era.
"By Kamala? She's vice president. There's still a president," replied one of the hosts, a grown man who goes by the name “Charlamagne the God.” "She broke the tie that started this inflation that has hurt so many people in our country," Donalds replied, to which co-host Angela Rye said was “not true.”
"You sure you want to go there?" Donalds fired back at the bread lady, before pulling out a list of facts on the matter from his pocket as she tried to speak over him. Give it a watch below:
