Senator Ted Cruz torched U.S. Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke over the DOJ’s effective labeling of parents as “domestic terrorists” for the “crime” of caring about their children’s education, and not wanting them subject to the addition of critical race theory propaganda to the curriculum, which tends to lean left to begin with.
Cruz challenged Clarke over the use of the term “domestic terrorists,” which she first attempted to justify by stating that the memo is in response to threats against “public servants” that are contrary to our “nation’s core values.” Cruz responded by asking if she believed the parents objecting are domestic terrorists, forcing her to admit the obvious, that they are not.

Of note, the left seems to be aware of just how completely absurd the “domestic terrorist” narrative is, and the Associated Press recently ran a “fact check” claiming that the DOJ never actually used the term. The “fact check” was immediately debunked by the fact that the DOJ actually used the term.
