The gaslighting never ends with Dr. Anthony Fauci, as he's now trying to pretend that the lockdown measures he supported don't actually count as "shutting down" anything.
Speaking to Fox's Neil Cavuto, he claimed "I didn't shut down anything. There was a lot of consideration among the White House task force that we were reaching a point where the hospitals, such as in New York City and other places, were being strained to the point of practically being overwhelmed." He says that was why he and Dr. Birx called for "fifteen days to slow the spread," which he claims wasn't "shutting everything down." Semantics over the definition of "shutting down" aside, the one thing "fifteen days to slow the spread" for sure wasn't was "fifteen days."
Fauci then said he had no regrets about going too far and, contrary to evidence, claimed that there wouldn't be any permanent damage to kids who couldn't go to school due to the sort of restrictions he encouraged.
