Ahead of the 2024 election, George Soros, through his Soros Fund Management, pulled off the acquisition of Audacy, granting him massive control over 200 radio stations in 40 markets, allowing him to reach a combined audience over 160 million. Soros purchased $415 million in debt in the company, granting him 40% control.

Itā€™s key here that this was done through George Sorosā€™ hedge fund, not through the Open Society Foundations, because it means he's still meddling despite handing the OSF off to his son.

Two years prior, Soros Fund Management took over 18 Hispanic radio stations, including the influential Miami conservative Radio Mambi. Audacy is the second-biggest radio network in the country after iHeart, and broadcasts top conservatives including Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, and other household names.

Over 25% of ownership of Audacy comes from foreign sources. When such a large percent of ownership will be from foreign sources, the FCC has to determine whether ā€œthe public interest will be served by the refusal or revocation of such license.ā€ The national security review can take between 3-6 months, and national security agencies are brought in - but not this time.

The Biden FCC expedited the required review of broadcast licenses, bypassing standard procedures and processes, resulting in the deal finalizing weeks before election day 2024. This came amid numerous Alex visits to the White House. According to FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr, the commission has never in its history signed off on the kind of shortcuts Audacy was granted, meaning that George was given special treatment.

Now the FCC is taking action. As Breitbart reported:

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr will brief the Republican Study Committee on Wednesday about George Sorosā€™s ā€œunprecedentedā€ scheme to take over 200 Audacy radio stations. Carr will detail how the FCC, under Democrat leadership, approved a license deal delivering leftist billionaire Soros over 200 Audacy radio stations.

Earlier this month, the Soros-owned San Francisco-based KCBS 740 AM came under fire for revealing live locations of undercover ICE vehicles and agents to try to thwart their raids.
