Fulton County DA Fumbles When Confronted on Trump Charges Leaked Before Grand Jury Vote

Ahead of Donald Trump and 18 others being charged by a Fulton County Grand Jury last night, charges against Trump and co-defendants were leaked online - only to then disappear. The DA's office said that the document, which was leaked prior to the grand jury having voted, was “fictitious.”

Yet when the indictments were handed down not long after, they were mysteriously identical to what was laid out in the supposedly fictitious leaked document. 

Something interesting: The document listing charges against Trump in Fulton County that apparently leaked/was erroneously published earlier today was called “fictitious” in a statement issued later.

That defies all logic, and DA Fani Willis was confronted on this during a press conference on the charges. Reporter Bryan Llenas asked “Earlier today, there was a fictitious document, according to the Fulton County Clerk’s Office, that was circulated online with charges against former President Donald Trump. That fictitious document matched exactly the charges that we now see in this indictment. Can you tell us more about that document leak? Because now you have the former president’s lawyers who are saying that this is emblematic of a serious problem with your office.”

She replied, dismissively; “No, I can’t tell you anything about what you refer to. What I can tell you is that we had a grand jury here in Fulton County. They deliberated until almost 08:00, if not right after 08:00, and the indictment was returned. It was true billed, and you now have an indictment. I am not an expert on clerk’s duties or even administrative duties. I wouldn’t know how to work that system. And so I’m not going to speculate. Next question.”

And as if any more proof was needed just how rigged this all was, don’t forget that foreperson of the jury bragged openly on television about how cool it would be to subpoena Trump. 

 

The judge overseeing the case then cleared the foreperson after criticism of her media tour.
