After leading Glenn Youngkin for the entirety of the Virginia Governor’s race, with just days until the election, Terry McAuliffe is now lagging following controversial comments on the role of parents in their children’s’ education.
According to a Fox News poll (which, contrary to what some dim critics may believe, is not a poll of Fox News viewers), Youngkin is now up by eight points among likely voters. McAuliffe is polling at 45% among likely voters to Youngkin’s 53%. Just two weeks ago McAuliffe lead 51-46%.
