Last year New York Governor Andrew Cuomo came under fire from his fellow liberals for a joke he made about the #MeToo movement.
While being crowded by numerous reporters, he quipped “We need space. Or I’ll bring you all up on charges under the Me Too movement.”
Andrew Cuomo just had a semi-impromptu gaggle with reporters.
It started with an aide asking us to move back a few steps to give him room.

If new allegations are to be believed, it’s looking like Cuomo himself who is going to be brought up on those charges.
According to the New York Post:
A former adviser to Gov. Andrew Cuomo — who is now running for Manhattan borough president — alleged Sunday that the governor “sexually harassed” her for years.
“Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years,” Lindsey Boylan alleged in a tweet Sunday morning. “Many saw it, and watched”
Cuomo’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment by The Post on Sunday.
Boylan worked for the Cuomo administration from March 2015 to October 2018 and politically identifies as “progressive.”
Yes, @NYGovCuomo sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched.
I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years.

She added that “Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it. No one. And I *know* I am not the only woman.”
She also said that she was no interest in speaking to any journalists about her allegations.
To be clear: I have no interest in talking to journalists.
I am about validating the experience of countless women and making sure abuse stops.
My worst fear is that this continues. And as @FKAtwigs said yesterday, my second worst fear is having to talk about and relive this.

Cuomo is reportedly at the top of Joe Biden’s list for his Attorney General pick – a position Cuomo would likely use to seek justice for everyone except nursing home patients.
