JD Vance: Closest Walz Has Come to Combat Is When He Let Rioters Burn Minneapolis to the Ground

JD Vance just debuted his best zinger yet when addressing the Tim Walz stolen valor scandal. 

“By the end of the campaign, Tim Walz is going to be talking about how he was carrying a M16 through the jungles of Vietnam. But this guy - everything that comes out of his mouth about his military service is at least 25% a lie,” he began.

“It occurred to me - the closest Tim Walz has ever come to combat, even though he says he carried a weapon of war, is when he let rioters burn Minneapolis to the ground a few years ago.”

Shortly after riots broke out in 2020, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey claims to  have requested support from the National Guard to quell the disruption, a call he says went ignored by Gov. Walz.
