Private jet enthusiast John Kerry was confronted in Davos at the World Economic Forum by The Rebel reporter Avi Yemini, and got furious when he was confronted on the hypocrisy of him and others at the event.
"What's the carbon footprint of these events every single year that you come here? Do you think it's worth it, peasants paying for your crimes?" Yemini asked Kerry?
Last year it was estimated that the emissions generated simply from the private jets flying in and out of airports serving Davos was equal to the amount produced by 350,000 cars for a week.
Of Kerry specifically, according to flight tracking data obtained by Fox News Digital in July 2022; a Gulfstream GIV-SP jet owned by Kerry's family made a total of 48 trips that lasted more than 60 hours and emitted an estimated 715,886 pounds, or 325 metric tons, of carbon over the course of the Biden administration's first 18 months.
Rather than address the question, Kerry replied by calling it âstupidâ before a woman with him appeared to shove Yemini and told him the interview was over. âWe have freedom of the press. Why do you think youâre more important? Your carbon footprint doesnât matter?â Yemini fired back.
âI never suggested that. Nobody ever suggested that. Donât make up stupid questions,â replied Kerry again, stupidly.

Kerry will leave his role as âclimate czarâ later this year.
