CNN Panelist Fears Trump Firing Squads

A CNN panel went off the rails when panelist Leigh McGowan, a liberal social media influencer known as “PoliticsGirl” who records videos of herself reading Democrat talking points in front of her fridge, fearmongered about Trump “firing squads.” 

McGowan first attempted to defend Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter, which covers everything over an 11-year period, claiming that Hunter was being politically prosecuted. 

“What the other side has been saying for years, what you guys ran on for president, is — was multiple lies,” McGowan began. “I mean, if Eric Holder said it, right, he said if Hunter’s name was Joe Smith, this case would probably have never even gone to trial, right? That it was always a political witch hunt.”

McGowan doesn’t believe the numerous prosecutions of Trump were political, of course. 

Host Abby Phillip chimed in “Wasn’t it a lie? I mean, you can defend it, but wasn’t it a lie?”

“No! I believe the circumstances have changed. We now have a president coming into office who’s talking about firing squads, who’s talking about running people around the country and making sure everyone who’s his enemy is going to be punished,” she fired back. 

Interestingly, she kept glaring down at notes while speaking, further demonstrating she had no idea what she was talking about, and was instead reading from talking points. Of note, I can’t recall ever seeing a guest on a talk show being allowed to bring notes on. 

As she said that, the camera panned to Scott Jennings, who gave a hilarious reaction you see at the top of this article.
