Appearing on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy promised a slew of investigations if/when the GOP takes back the House in the midterms.
“When we take the majority, we will create that committee on China, and it will be a bipartisan committee, so you will have one American voice on how we can compete where China comes in and captures the critical minerals when they come in and capture our medical supply and others… we will investigate the origins of COVID, we’ll investigate the AGs calling parents terrorists, we’ll investigate the Afghanistan withdrawal… [we’ll investigate] the release of American taxpayers’ reports” McCarthy said. He added that they would also investigate if the Biden family made millions from dealings with the Chinese government while Joe was VP, citing Peter Schweizer’s new book.

Last month on the same program, Jim Jordan promised the GOP would investigate Dr. Fauci after retaking the House.
Of course, the investigations themselves are irrelevant if no one ends up being held accountable by the end of them.
