Melania Trump Reveals She Was Debanked, Banned From Her Email Provider Over Politics

Proving that it really can happen to anyone - Melania Trump revealed in an interview with Maria Bartiromo that she was “debanked” over politics.

Debanking is one way that banks have been discriminating against conservatives recently, and it has impacted other high profile figures such as the U.K.’s Nigel Farage, known for his role in Brexit. 

“You know, this pushback from so many areas of your life that you never saw before, but suddenly the powers that be wanted to cancel you,” Bartiromo said.

Melania explained the “cancellation” attempts she faced, including her bank suddenly informing her “they will not be able to do business with me anymore.” She added that an “email distribution service provider just rapidly terminated my agreement” over politics. 

She also called an incident where a university that initially accepted her donations for foster students’ scholarships later refused them after learning that she was the donor. “They didn’t want to do business with me because of political affiliation, my political beliefs,” at the expense of “children from the foster community.”
