Morning Joe Hacks Meet With Trump for First Time Since TDS Diagnosis

Further proving they don’t even believe their own rhetoric, Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski sat down over the weekend with the man they spent nearly a decade comparing to Adolf Hitler. 

Mika opened her show this morning by stating that “Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump’s actions and words in the coarsening of public debate, but for nearly 80 million Americans, election denialism, public trials, January 6th were not as important as the issues that moved them to send Donald Trump back to the White House with their vote.”

She then admitted, likely to the shock of her audience, that the duo had just met with Trump. “Joe and I realize it’s time to do something different, and that starts with not only talking about Donald Trump, but also talking with him,” she said, mentioning that they discussed abortion, mass deportations, among other issues. 

“It will come as no surprise to anybody who watches this show, has watched it over the past year or over the past decade, that we didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of issues and we told him so.”

Mika then added, “What we did agree on was to restart communications,” but clarified for her audience that they wouldn’t try to “defend or normalize” Trump, as obviously that would cost the duo the few viewers they have left.

To point out the obvious, despite the claims about not “defend[ing] or normaliz[ing]” Trump, Scarborough and Brzezinski cannot possibly believe the absurd rhetoric they’d been peddling about him.
