The self-described "gender-nonconforming" LGBTQ activist Sam Brinton, who serves as a senior Energy Department Official, was charged with felony theft late last month after allegedly stealing a woman's luggage from a Minneapolis airport in September. The felony theft charge alleged that Brinton stole a Vera Bradley suitcase with over $2,000 worth of items in it from a baggage claim. Brinton initially denied taking the suitcase, but then later said he took it by mistake. But that cannot possibly be the case, as Brinton didn't bring a bag of his own to the airport - but then later checked the allegedly stolen bag.
And now we're learning that could be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Brinton's luggage heists.
According to the Post Millennial:
Sam Brinton is accused once again of stealing luggage from an airport. According to KLAS, a felony warrant was issued for Sam Brinton on the charge of grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000, for allegedly stealing luggage from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
Just as in the first case, it was women's luggage allegedly stolen.
Brinton still remains employed by the Biden administration, but was placed on leave after LuggageGate initially broke. Republican lawmakers demanded his resignation earlier this week, and the latest news is only set to bolster their calls.
