Obama Spreads Disinformation While Complaining About Disinformation

Fight tech tyranny. Join Dan on Rumble.

Former president Barack Obama, whose administration once blamed a terrorist attack on a U.S. Consulate on a YouTube video, railed against misinformation yesterday to help advance the left’s strategy of labeling everything counter-narrative “misinformation” to justify the censorship of it.

Just seconds apart, Obama ironically shifted from referencing the discredited narrative that Russian interference had an impact on the U.S. election  to complaining about “lies” and “conspiracy theories,” stating “What does still nag at me though was my failure to fully appreciate at the time just how susceptible we had become to lies and conspiracy theories, despite having spent years being a target of disinformation myself.”

Obama later turned to describing the Democrat playbook while claiming they’re the tactics of Vladimir Putin and Steve Bannon (names he’s basically using as buzzwords), stating “it’s not necessary for people to believe disinformation … You just have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage.”

Whether it be the media uncritically spreading Obama’s lie that his health care plan wouldn’t cause anyone who liked their plans to lose their plans, or the coordinated designation of Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian propaganda,” it’s indeed easy to see the negative impact flooding the public square with “raw sewage” is having – it’s just not coming from the right.
