During a recent appearance on Bill Maherâs âClub Randomâ podcast, Maher got into a semi-heated argument with filmmaker Oliver Stone over fraud in the 2020 election.
While the two were discussing COVID vaccine mandates, Stone described Biden as authoritarian over pushing them, to which Maher agreed, but added âI would say the form that Trump is threatening us with is even worseâŚ. he doesnât concede elections, the âelections only count if we winâ theory of government. Trump has still not conceded the election.â
Surprising Maher, Stone replied âI mean, do you know for a fact that he lost? Iâm just curiousâ
Maher went on to repeat the usual talking points about the Trump campaign losing lawsuits, cited and people like Bill Barr, Mitch McConnell, and Liz Cheney saying the election wasnât rigged - leading Stone to fire back about controversies over the 2000 election (which Maher would obviously be sympathetic to) - and the discussion went from there.
