In the first answer he gave to the first question as a presidential candidate on the Republican debate stage in 2016, Donald Trump slammed Rosie O’Donnell.

When asked about past comments about women, Trump responded, iconically, that he was only speaking about Rosie O’Donnell

The two have feuded for nearly two decades, which began after Trump decided not to fire Miss USA Tara Conner after revelations of drug use and underage drinking, allowing her to go to rehab instead. O’Donnell had a problem with this, and said on The View that she didn’t “enjoy” Trump, and falsely claimed that he went bankrupt (some businesses in his portfolio did, but he didn’t personally go bankrupt).

As it turns out, Trump’s second *official* victory was too much for her to handle, and she fled to Ireland, in yet another victory for the country.

According to Newsweek:

Rosie revealed on TikTok that she left the U.S. in January with her 12-year-old child Clay, whom she shared with late ex-wife Michelle Rounds.

"It's been pretty wonderful, I have to say," O'Donnell said in the nine-minute video. "The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming, and I'm very grateful."

Over the years, O'Donnell has been critical about Trump's politics and said that was the reason for her new home. The 78-year-old Republican began his second term in the White House on January 20.

"When it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that's when we will consider coming back," the 62-year-old said. "It's been heartbreaking to see what's happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know." Newsweek reached out to O'Donnell's representative via email for comment.
