Earlier this week, Republican Senator Josh Hawley posted a lengthy thread to his Twitter account with alarming findings about Biden Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s history of giving sex offenders lenient sentences.

“Judge Jackson has a pattern of letting child porn offenders off the hook for their appalling crimes, both as a judge and as a policymaker,” he wrote on Wednesday. “She’s been advocating for it since law school. This goes beyond ‘soft on crime.’ I’m concerned that this [is] a record that endangers our children.”

He further noted that Jackson questioned making convicts register as sex offenders, claiming that it leads to “stigmatization and ostracism,” and said that current public policy towards sex offenders is driven by a “climate of fear, hated and revenge.” As a member of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, she advocated for eliminating mandatory minimum sentences for child porn possession, claiming some people who posses child porn “are in this for either the collection, or the people who are loners and find status in their participation in the community.”

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Hawley appeared on Hannity last night to discuss Jackson’s sordid background in a must-see interview:
