Senator Josh Hawley grilled one hack-scientist who engaged in propagandistic efforts to downplay the credibility of the COVID lab-leak theory, which is now accepted as the most likely explanation for the pandemic by our own government agencies.
Hawley slammed Dr. Robert Garry, a professor at the Tulane School of Medicine who himself claimed that COVID came from a lab before supposedly changing his mind (“changing his tune” would be more accurate). In an interview with Megyn Kelly, Garry can be seen with a “This House Supports Joe Biden and the Democratic Party” poster in the background, in case there was any doubt of his political allegiances. He also repeats the phrase “you know” while speaking 54 times in that interview, which seems to be the scientist's equivalent of someone prefacing an obvious lie with “I’m not going to lie to you…”
“Our own government deliberately withheld information… from the American people, tried to propagandize the American people, used the arms and agencies of government to actively censor Americans who dared to question the propaganda. And they’re still lying to us” Hawley said.
“People lost their jobs, they lost their standing, they were kicked off Facebook, they were kicked off Twitter. Do you regret being part of this effort, this propaganda effort?” asked Senator Hawley.
