Last month the Daily Wire broke the explosive story that Loudoun County schools allegedly tried to cover up the sexual assault of Scott Smithâs daughter.
Smith had previously been arrested at a school board meeting on June 22 and charged with disorderly conduct, but it was unknown at the time that weeks prior on May 28th, a boy wearing a skirt then-allegedly entered a girlsâ bathroom and sexually assaulted his daughter (resulting only in the suspect being transferred to another school – where he was accused of a similar act). The teen suspect was later found guilty in the bathroom assault.
While itâs clear who the victimized are here in this situation, Soros-backed Loudoun County prosecutor Buta Biberaj made the rare and questionable decision of trying to seek jail time against Smith following his arrest. After that generated outrage, Biberaj decided to double down, somehow making this about the Governor’s race. “This is the part that concerns me, that when you have somebody who’s running for governor [Youngkin], and they’re not interested in the safety of our community but interested in inflaming it, that should make him ineligible to be a governor because instead of keeping our community safe he’s further dividing it…” she said.
Oddly, she seems to be describing herself.
She then goes on to defend her indefensible actions in the school board incident by stating that the prosecutor’s office doesn’t investigate crimes, which she thinks makes her look better.
Watch below:
Soros dumped $659k into the Loudoun County race backing Buta Biberaj for commonwealthâs attorney, which she won and was sworn into the position in January 2020.
On the campaign trail, Biberaj said she favored new pretrial diversion programs for perpetrators of lower-level charges to earn a âdismissalâ of their case, backed restoring voting rights of felons, and argued that prosecutors shouldnât be involved in immigration enforcement.
While in office, Biberaj was one of twelve Virginia prosecutors who signed onto a letter calling for âautomated, automatic, and free expungement of criminal records for formerly system involved community members,â the end of mandatory minimum sentences, the end of cash bail, the abolition of the death penalty, and the end of âthree strikesâ felony enhancements for petty
larceny offenses.
