Who would have thought that hopping inside a garbage truck while wearing a reflective vest and holding a press conference from the passenger’s window would become one of Donald Trump’s most epic trolls on Kamala Harris? The stunt, staged in the battleground state of Wisconsin, effectively revived the “garbage-gate” controversy that erupted when President Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as “garbage” earlier this week.

The white truck was emblazoned with massive lettering reading "Trump Make America Great Again 2024," and American flags flew proudly from the front.

Trump initially responded to the garbage-gate scandal during a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday. "Remember Hillary? She said ‘deplorable’ and then ‘irredeemable,’ right? But she said ‘deplorable.’ That didn't work out. ‘Garbage’ I think is worse," Trump remarked. "But he doesn't know—please forgive him. Please forgive him, for he knoweth not what he said."

"And I'm convinced he likes me more than he likes Kamala," Trump joked.
