The proud "sanctuary" that is New York City is suffering the consequences of their own proclaimed virtue.
Despite reaffirming his commitment to keeping NYC a "sanctuary city" for illegal aliens while on the campaign trail, it only took a handful of buses of illegals from Texas for Mayor Eric Adams to declare a state of emergency and demand help from the federal government.
Newly released video from Project Veritas shines light on the internal chaos within the Adams administration, with one top aide describing the Mayor as "not capable enough" to handle the crisis.
Adams' "Advance Team" member Chris Baugh admitted to an undercover PV reporter "There was talk about us just limiting the number of migrants we would accept, and I’m glad we didn’t do it that way. But I still think what [Texas Governor Greg] Abbott was doing has proven effective. Like, it’s flooded our system."
He added "Frankly, I don’t know how much Biden is going to appreciate having a mayor be like, ‘Hey, you owe blue cities money because of this migrant crisis.’ Like, eventually that’s going to make Biden look bad. We’re a month out from the midterms and he is not going to like that. It’s a very perilous situation for him and I don’t know that Eric Adams is capable enough to navigate it."
