President Trump addressed reporters today and said that EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland’s testimony proves that the Democrats’ impeachment efforts are “all over.”
Earlier today, Sondland testified that President Trump did not want anything from Ukraine.
“President Trump when I asked him the open-ended question, as I testified previously, ‘What do you want from Ukraine?’ His answer was ‘I want nothing, I want no quid pro quo,” said Sondland. “‘Tell Zelensky to do the right thing.‘ That’s all I got from President Trump.”
As he was departing for Austin, TX the president addressed reporters and said, “I just noticed one thing and I would say that means it’s all over.”
The president then discussed Sondland’s testimony and said, “He’s going ‘What do you want? What do you want? I hear all these theories’, and now here’s my response that he gave…ready? Do you have the cameras rolling? ‘I want nothing’ that’s what I want from Ukraine…’I want nothing’ I said it twice.”
