No Tax on Tips: Guess How the Media Acted When It Was Trump's Idea - And After Harris Stole It

As Kamala Harris flip-flops, her cheerleaders in the media are flip-flopping on the flip-flopping.

Following the Harris campaign ripping off the Donald Trump campaign’s “no tax on trips” promise, they immediately fell in line. Just look how blatant CBS News was about it.

 

When it was Trump’s idea, CBS reported on it from the perspective of how much revenue it’ll deprive the federal government of, as if they have a good track record when it comes to spending our money. When Harris copied the idea, CBS presented it as her idea, with no criticism of it offered. 

Now, to be fair, the two articles were written by different authors - but you didn’t have to look far to find an example of the exact same CBS pundit completely retailoring his position based on who was advocating for it. 

CBS Senior White House and Political Correspondent Ed O’Keefe went on air to make the case against abolishing a tax on tips - but the second Harris stole it, O’Keefe suddenly found a newfound respect for the idea, even while acknowledging that Trump proposed it first (video below).
