Time Magazine, struggling to stay relevant, has released its short list of finalists for their “prestigious” Person of the Year for 2024.
JUST IN: TIME Magazine is considering naming Vice President Kamala Harris as TIME’s Person of the Year.

Some of Harris’ accomplishments in 2024 include becoming the Dem candidate with no votes and losing the 2024 election while spending $1.5B.

In a rarity, a number of people on the right were on the list. Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Joe Rogan were among those included - and surprisingly, so was Kamala Harris.
On what basis is she included? TIME couldn’t seem to find a single accomplishment to attribute to her.
Given the gravity of Harris' loss in the 2024 election, where she didn’t flip even a single county, it’s hard to imagine how TIME could possibly spin making her Person of the Year. Perhaps they could frame her as “someone who did their post to prevent the horrors of Trump,” but even then she’d be eligible for a liberal participation trophy at best.
